I have reservations about gags like this: Not everyone will remember Ivy, if they ever saw her. Just know that she's a mouse who acts friendly to Aspen despite lack of reprisal, and Virgil seems to respect her even less.

If they really want to know who Ivy is, just tell them to go back to http://downscale.thecomicseries.com/comics/514 and start binge-reading. Of course, if they're going to go back that far, they might as well go all the way back to the beginning.
