Only after drawing Aspen in this form did I realize she looked more hideous than cute. Those photo-negative eyes, those hornlike ears, that out-of-place tail shape, and of course the appearance of floating make her a creature out of nightmares, not pleasant dreams. And yet one reader said she might be cuter than the canonical Pikachu. I wouldn't go that far, but with the new Detective Pikachu...
