"Silly snake!" is pretty rude, but Ivy means it in a friendly way, calling attention to what she sees as an out-of-place predatory instinct. She's still showing less tact than befits her present connection with Aspen.

Her problem is that for whatever strange reason, she simply doesn't see Aspen as a threat... never has. And so in her binary brain, that makes Aspen a friend. Hence the misplaced familiarity.
