I hadn't felt this good about a strip in quite a while. Though fairly simple to draw, it was a challenge to come up with a cute but slightly disturbing batty flirtation activity that wouldn't appear in "Kevin & Kell." When I saw an email from my mom that day titled "Downscale," I knew she either loved it or thought I went too far. The first guess was correct.
