I had recently realized that my webcomic had never passed the Bechdel Test, which requires that two females talk about something other than a male. Of course, adding a new character just for that purpose sounds lame, so I thought a while about what else the new character could bring. Lo and behold, Aspen has her first outdoor acquaintance -- and one she won't start tolerating, let alone liking, as easily as she did Virgil or Umberto. After all this time casting Aspen as not so bad and improving in morals, I get to explore her dark side in more depth. Still feel a little sorry about the last panel, tho; that tail bled earlier.
