As a kid, I subscribed to the bygone "Zillions: Consumer Reports for Kids." More than anything, it taught me to be cynical about ads. Frankly, it went a bit far. I mean, if you're young and naive enough to believe that Cocoa Puffs work that way, you probably won't read a magazine at that level.
