At this point, a reader expressed concern that I was devoting so much of the comic to dreams, especially Virgil's -- that it could be a sign that I was too bored with my own comic's "reality" and ought to rewrite the rules. I contend that the dreams are merely vacations, not the kind of craziness I'd like to have much more often than I already do, and to change the comic that much this late in the game would constitute jumping the shark.
